He qualified as a dentist at the University of Melbourne and then gained an MSc in Orthodontics at the University of London. He is the recipient of the Professor Philip Walther Prize for outstanding performance as part of his MSc and obtained membership of The Royal College of Surgeons upon qualification. Since then, he has worked in private orthodontic practice in the South East region.

He is also a Clinical Teacher in Orthodontics at Guy’s Hospital. He is a DIAMOND Invisalign^® provider. He was invited to treat the winner of the UK wide competition ‘Invisalign^® Changed my Life’ and is part of Invisalign^®‘s ‘Smile Squad’. His main areas of interest are invisible braces, cosmetic orthodontic braces including Suresmile Advanced^® brace technology, Lingual Braces such as Incognito^™ and In-Ovation L^®, Invisalign^® and Damon^™ Braces.

Implant Prosthodontics:
· Implant placement and restoration since 1987.
· Planning and multidisciplinary management of compromised implants.
· Experience with 11 different implant brands and systems.
Maxillofacial Prosthodontics for patients treated for head & neck cancer:
· Dressing plates, surgical stents, immediate obturators for in-theatre placement
· Rehabilitation of patients treated for head & neck cancer using:
· Conventional – obturator dentures and conventional fixed approaches
· Dental implant:
· Implant supported removable prostheses and obturators
· Fixed implant retained prostheses.
· Patients with cleft palate repairs:
· Fixed, removable and implant retained prostheses

After qualifying as a dentist she worked as a General Dental Practitioner at a dental practice in North London. She also undertook dental core training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at University College Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital as well as in Paediatric Dentistry at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London.

Following this, she pursued Orthodontic specialist training at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Hospital, qualifying with Distinction and multiple national prizes including the British Orthodontic Society University Teachers’ Group Prize, the Houston Postgraduate Research Scholarship and the S.P. Jones Prize for the most outstanding Orthodontic Master’s research.

Olivia has a calm and friendly nature and always ensures her patients feel relaxed in the dental chair.

In her spare time, Olivia enjoys travelling, learning about different cultures through reading, experiencing different cuisines and music.

Dr Shan Lam previously worked for fifteen years in a busy, family-oriented practice in Cambridge, where she was the senior dental practitioner. She prides herself on the empathetic and caring way in which she treats her patients – from toddlers to octogenarians. Her principal goal is to ensure that all her patients, children and adults alike, feel relaxed and comfortable in the dental environment.

In addition to general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, Dr Lam has been a certified provider of anti-wrinkle treatment (Botox), dermal fillers and lip-enhancement procedures since 2006. She also has a special interest in helping patients who grind their teeth, as well as those who suffer from snoring or obstructive sleep apnoea.

He completed his certificate in Implantology at the London dental Institute in 2004. He is a full member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a founder member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He continues to pursue excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry by attending courses throughout Europe and North America.

Dr Omar was one of the first clinician in the UK to use Invisalign obtaining the title of Platinum provider and has over 15 years of Invisalign experience.

After qualifying, Lorena continued to work in hospital as well as general practice. She established her own successful practice in Valencia where she worked closely with her sister who also qualified as a dentist. She developed a keen interest in Periodontics whilst working for Prof. Martinez Canut at the School of Dentistry at the University of Valencia and worked in the Periodontology department and in his Specialist practice for four years.

She came to London in 1996 and secured a place at Guy’s Hospital on a four-year Specialist training programme for Periodontics. During this time, she not only secured an MSc and Master of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology but she also gained her Diploma of Membership in Restorative Dentistry with special emphasis in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

Lorena Mumford was recognised as a Specialist Periodontist by The General Dental Council in 2000 and continued to teach Undergraduate Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital, as well as work in Specialist Practices in London. She combined this with a return to work in her own Practice in Spain.

Currently she spends the majority of her time in Specialist Clinical Practice in the UK. Lorena has developed a particular interest in the treatment of patients with regenerative and reconstructive techniques to improve aesthetics as well as periodontal health.

She also holds a specialty Membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal college of Surgeons Edinburgh. Dr.Karjikar is currently a clinical lecturer at Kings College London . She also works at Guy’s and St.Thomas’ hospital where she exclusively works with the rehabilitation of head and neck cancer patients. Her research work focusses on implant rehabilitation.

She loves treating patients and is known for her humble yet honest demeanor and mannerism.

In her spare time she enjoys surfing and traveling.

As an Orthodontic Therapist she works very closely and under the prescription of our Specialist Orthodontist here at Holland Park Dental Centre.

She is integral to providing clinical excellence and to the efficiency of orthodontic treatment. You’re likely to see her at some stage during your orthodontic journey.
She loves her job because she thinks it’s great when her passion and career come together, enabling her to provide flawless treatments for her patients and inspire others.

Daren’s journey into dentistry began as a dental nurse. While having a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry, her real passion lies in preventive care and educating patients. This led her to graduate from University of Essex as dental hygienist. Daren puts a strong emphasis on patient well-being and is committed to delivering personalized care. She is also trained in guided biofilm therapy (GBT) one of latest hygiene tool on the market.

She is passionate about the profession and highly sought-after by her patients, many of whom have been with her for decades, with some travelling especially to see her from overseas.

As a dedicated part of the team, Lynn enjoys being part of the integral complex treatment plans, aimed at restoring and maintaining excellence in the dental wellness of her patients.

Adriana is very passionate about dental health and keen to pass on her dental health knowledge to help improve the oral health of her patients.

Outside of work she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Before joining Holland Park Dental Centre, Ella worked at a renowned clinic in the prestigious Harley Street area for several years.

She takes great pride in her work and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure client needs are met, and all patients leave the practice with a smile.
